St. Anselm Lecture on Wednesday, October 7th at 7:00 p.m.
The St. Anselm Institute at the University of Virginia will again this year host a number of guest lecturers throughout the academic year.
The first lecture is on Wednesday, October 7, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at Minor Hall. The lecture will be presented by Trent Pomplun who is an Associate Professor of Theology at Loyola University-Maryland. He will be presenting a talk based on his book Jesuit on the Roof of the World (Oxford). The book presents the adventures of the Jesuit missionary priest Ippolito Desideri who lived in Tibet from 1715 to 1721. The lecture is open to the public.
